Who We Are

In March of 2004 I stood at St. Ignatius Orthodox Church in Franklin, Tennessee by my wife and two precious children as we were Chrismated into the ancient Christian faith. I pray that I will never forget the image of Wesley and Katie, palms up, being anointed with Holy Chrism and then receiving their first communion.  While our journey to Orthodoxy began before Katie was born, we wanted to do all we could to make sure our children had every advantage of faith and grace the Church made available to them. It was out of that desire, to learn and help them learn the fullness of the Orthodox tradition, that The Orthodox Project was born.

I pray that this endeavor will be pleasing to the One whom we serve both now and ever and unto ages of ages.  Amen!
